Facilities

Burton Signworks, Inc. is proud to house our manufacturing plant in our state of the art 55,000 sq. ft. facility centrally located in Mount Airy, NC. BSI has expandable manufacturing capabilities up to 225,000 sq. ft.

We currently employ a version of the Toyota manufacturing method. This allows us to pull product through our facility as opposed to traditional methods of pushing product. In using this method, it allows each receiving department to grade the product and accept or reject the product and then continue on through the manufacturing process.

We recently opened a new 15K square foot manufacturing facility in our offsite 225K square foot building. This is the first step in our expansion efforts which allows us to keep our manufacturing timelines down and increase our efficiency. This new facility is a standalone manufacturing facility with complete manufacturing capabilities. We are currently manufacturing all of our channel letter and awning products  as well as special fabrication projects out of this facility. We anticipate expanding further into this great facility as needed.

BSI prides itself on quality control! We focus on this during every step of the production process. Quality control is a concern of all our staff as this is evident by our percentage of warranty claims which is currently less than 1%.
